Project Lockout Takeover Day

10:30am - 6:30pm

Workshop with 30 max capacity

Spend a day with Project Lockout, training in their unique blend of physical theatre, ensemble movement and mime. You will be generating sequences with the company to be captured on film, making a digital art piece before the day is done! No experience necessary - only a willingness to participate to the fullest. The final digital art piece created will be screened on the final day of the festival during Theatre & the Digital World event.

Project Lockout is led by Artistic Director Michael Lynch (Associate Filmmaker at Frantic Assembly, Samsung Spotlight Award Winner for MIME and Associate Artist/Performer at Justice In Motion and GymJam). The team is made up of a collective of artists practicing ensemble movement and mime within the realm of theatre and film. Project Lockout is a Resident Company of Tramshed for 2022.

- A water bottle

- Bring a change of clothes, something casual you’d wear in a waiting room and which is easy enough to change into

- Bring a pen and paper

The day will involve a lot of physical contact, however we will accommodate to individuals who may feel uncomfortable with this as well as for participants with existing injuries.
