Comedy at Tramshed
Fri 15th December 2023 - Fri 15th December 2023
Fri 16th Jan | Three top stand-ups every month
Laughter should be local.
Join us at Tramshed for our monthly comedy night, bringing the hottest talent on the circuit to Woolwich.
You’ve seen them on TV, you’ve heard them on the radio, now see them live.
With a full bar and great atmosphere, the Tramshed has been home to comedy for years. We predate the Comedy Store as London’s first regular comedy-club, and we are continuing that legacy with your laughs and great line-ups.
Friday December 15th Line-Up
Mamoun Elagab
A rising star on the live comedy scene, Mamoun’s natural flair has made him a winner and finalist of numerous comedy competitions, including Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year and BBC New Comedy Awards. As seen as part of the prestigious Pleasance Reserve programme, Edinburgh Fringe 2019.
Danny Ward
A self proclaimed tataholic, Danny Ward is on a mission to spread the lesson he refuses to learn – when you try and do things on the cheap, it ends up costing you more. With a delivery that is upbeat and well-honed, his easy-going style is both endearing and very funny. He has gigged extensively across the UK including comedy venues such as The Glee Clubs, Jongleurs, The Highlight, Just The Tonic, Baby Blue, Komedia, the Bearcat and Downstairs At The Kings Head.
Helen Bauer
Helen is one of the UK’s most exciting rising stand up stars. After leaving college with an E in Economics and an allergy to the education system, Helen Bauer moved to London to share a bed with her cousin and work in Accessorize on Oxford Street. She lived in London until she was 23, making sketches, waitressing and drinking. She then moved to Berlin to do the same there, and discovered stand upHelen honed her comedy skills performing in Germany.
We love bringing you Comedy at Tramshed every month. We want to keep doing it. Keep being a home for live comedy in Woolwich. Keep bringing you the best stand-ups in the country. Keep making you laugh as the world burns. Sadly, as things stand, we might be unable to do so for much longer. If you want to keep London's original home of live comedy going as a comedy venue, if you want top class acts every month, if you want Comedy to stay at Tramshed, please come and see us, bring a friend, bring two, bring more! Help us #SaveLiveComedy.
