An afternoon of free Hip Hop workshops as part of Greenwich Park Revealed
An explosion of activity programmed by young people for young people for ages 8-16 years old. Workshop programmes to include Street Dance, Spoken Word, Graffiti Art, Parkour and opportunities to showcase skateboard / BMX skills. Just turn up and have a go…
We encourage people to bring their own fold out chairs, rugs and picnics to enjoy the Greenwich Family Arts Festival performances.

About the Facilitators
Parkour: Esprit Concrete
Esprit Concrete aims to aid individuals to gain a deeper understanding of their emotional, psychological and physical states through movement and self-reflection based on an Art Du Deplacement and Parkour experience.
Physical Theatre: Created A Monster
Created a Monster is a female-led non-profit theatre company formed in 2014 at Ecole Jacques Lecoq, Paris. They focus on physical storytelling to communicate and engage with our audiences through mime, the grotesque and the exploration of personal hells. The territories of a. The relationship between mental illness and creativity and b. The stories of the voiceless, we return to again and again.
DUSK Ensemble
DUSK Ensemble are a UK based Physical Theatre company, specialising in contact improvisation. At the Youth takeover day we will be inviting people of all ages and abilities to join us for 30 minutes of movement and ensemble based games. This session will be surrounding our core principles of, TRUST/FORM/CREATION. Come and move, have fun and learn what’s is like to be inside one of our high intensity workshops.

Tuff Cookie is a UK based arts & entertainment company, focused on aiding mental, social and emotional wellbeing in young people from economically challenging or disadvantaged environments through the mediums of art and entertainment.
At the youth takeover day, we will be encouraging young people to express their creative selves and have fun with some spray painting techniques, lead by graffiti artist Suigen.
