A new venture for Family Arts Festival with our first Family Pride Day. There'll be shows, storytelling, arts and crafts, music, food and drinks from the Arsenal farmers market and you'll even be able to join in the pride parade with Elmer the Patchwork Elephant! This is going to be a special day where the whole family can celebrate being who you want and loving who you are!
Dame Nation
From 12pm-5pm there will be live music from 90s Brit Award nominated pop star Lolly and Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalists Dame Nation; Drag from Britain’s first out Muslim Drag Queen Asifa Lahore and comedian Richard Energy; dance from the stigma smashing Ballet in the Park theatre and walkabout theatre from The Dust Busters; stories celebrating LGBTQ+ equality from award-winning journalist and former acting Editor-in-Chief and Deputy Editor of ELLE Magazine Lotte Jeffs, equality educational resource facilitators Pop‘n’Olly, Slug Needs a Hug author Jeanne Willis; workshops, family games and a Community Pride Parade featuring Elmer The Patchwork Elephant plus a lot more.
