The BANdana Dangdut Band

The BANdana Dangdut Band is an Indonesian community music group based in London. They perform a wide range of Indonesian popular music, known as ‘dangdut’. Dangdut is a very popular genre of music in Indonesia and it has a distinctive drumming style influenced by both Indonesian beats and Indian music. The music is also enriched with a unique, flowing vocal part accompanied by guitars, keyboards, and ketipung (drums)

Gamelaning

Gamelaning is a gamelan project performing traditional Javanese pieces, as well as exploring the distinctive sounds and timbres produced by combining gamelan and Western instruments.

Join us at Greenwich Park Bandstand from 2:00pm for a free Bollywood Dance workshop before the concert.

Presented by Tramshed and Rhthym Passport as part of The Royal Parks' Greenwich Park Revealed programme, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the National Loterry Community Fund.
