Are you aged 14-25 and thinking of a future in the arts?
Whether you have a clear idea of a future career, want to explore your options or simply enjoy participating and volunteering, our Progression day is for you. With hands on workshops, career advise, opportunity signposting and more. Whether you have already decided to pursue a career in performing or directing, are interested in a career in the arts but not sure which path is best for you, or you simply want enjoy participating in something you love, this day will help you achieve your goals and feel better informed and equipped.
What to expect on the day?
Recording Workshop
Want to make it in the music business? Recording artists and In2Music facilitators ShayD and Capo Lee deliver a workshop on recording technique and take your questions on everything from stage pressence, life on the road and everything else involved in being a professional musician.
Self Tape Workshop
Actor Jake Davies (Sherwood; Screw; Phantom of the Open) helps young actors increase their changes of landing roles with his tips on perfecting your self taped reel and audition tecnique.
- Q&As from highly experienced practising artists, including video game and theatre writer Andrew Walsh, and Roger Wilson from Black Lives in Music.
- Information and access to apprenticeship opportunities such as Mediorite Shift Film Makers Course
- An opportunity to network and meet other young creatives over lunch!
